On the first Sunday of October, a great time was had by all as "St. Francis" (Fr. Bob) and a friend (Flat Francis) made an appearance to bless the pets of the parish. The outdoor festivities included song, prayer, and the traditional blessing of the animals. St. Francis medals were also given to each pet.
